Reducing Stress: Acupuncture

If you’re considering acupuncture, get a recommendation for a therapist — your doctor might be helpful here, or you might know someone who’s been through it. If not, you can contact acupuncture organizations via the internet for recommendations. Also, check the therapist’s training and credentials — in most states, acupuncturists require a license, certification, or registration to practice.

The thing about acupuncture, and that many have discovered, is that it works. You’re a skeptic until you try it, and after that you become a believer. As one of it’s greatest benefits, acupuncture is safe and has virtually no side-effects.

Of course, you can get a prescription for something to reduce stress and anxiety, but do you really need another chemical in your body?
