Judge Jeanine begins her television career where she renders judgment on such matters as whether a discotheque-clad Joey Buttafuoco was owed money by a young lady who feels he should accept sex as payment, or when the proprietor of the Coney Island Freak Show sued the owner of a puppy for selling it to someone else. Whether or not Pirro has become more enlightened on the issue that put Mr. Deskovic in prison can’t yet be known — she was contacted on July 26, July 27, August 1, and August 6, but no reply was received.
2009
A free man, Mr. Deskovic asked to be a witness at the confirmation hearing of Chief Justice Sotomayor, hoping to ask her about her future approach to technical matters such as the one that kept him incarcerated an additional 7 years. However, both the Democrats and Republicans denied his request.
Yet one day she may face the innocent man she kept in prison, not as a defendant but as an officer of the court, because Jeffrey Deskovic is in law school.
