Gainesville Georgia, prides itself as “the poultry capital of the world”, and they take that moniker seriously, and so they have certain “recommendations” on how chicken should be consumed. They have a law that was enacted in 1961 that makes it illegal to eat fried chicken with utensils — I guess they want you to have the “finger-lickin'” experience. This was mostly done for the publicity, but someone was “arrested” for using a fork in 2009.
This one has to boil the blood of the “Me Too” movement. In Waynesboro, Virginia, it is illegal for a woman to drive a car down Main Street without her husband walking in front of the car while waving a red flag.
