World’s Best Hotel Rooms

Ty Warner Penthouse, Four Seasons, New York — $45,000

Located on the 52nd floor and 700 feet above the pavement, this is the highest hotel room in New York. With floor to ceiling windows and glass balconies, it offers 360 degree views of the city. It was built for $50 million and took seven years, so it will take about 1,112 days of occupancy just to cover the construction costs.

But don’t come here with a group of friends — there’s only one bedroom. Still, you will feel pampered. It’s 4,300 square feet and surrounded by opulence. You sleep on 18th century Japanese silk pillows and the interior is a work of art — Venetian velvet, Chinese onyx, sinks made of rock crystal. You have your own art concierge, a library, chauffeured Rolls-Royce Phantom service, personal trainer, spa treatments and unlimited caviar and champagne.
