As you moved up in class you also paid some attention to your wheels. At first, the best thing about the wheels was attaching baseball cards to the spokes making them sound very cool, and showing off the two wheeler all over the neighborhood. The English Racer had thinner wheels, and the purpose there was speed.
The road bike has tiny thin tires, that if you ever thought about it would scare the devil out of you on a fast downhill. (Trust me on that one)
