How much exercise are you really getting in a week, every week. Do you believe in meditation — if not, why not? If it could help you to relax, absorb more, and feel better, would you try it? There is nothing to buy and you can start with five minutes a day.
Even you, in all your ‘busyness’, can spare five minutes every day — for you.
Set a routine. Set aside a few minutes every day. Don’t start with an hour or more…it doesn’t work that way. You will never stay with it and it will make you crazy. Start with 5-10 minutes. Choose a place that is quiet and out of the way. Find a straight backed chair and sit at the edge, with your back straight. Place the tip of your tongue behind your two front teeth, and breathe softly through your nose.
Try and think of nothing, and just relax. Let thoughts come and go as they will and when they won’t go away, think of something else. You can keep your eyes open or closed — it really doesn’t matter. Try sitting like this for 3-5 minutes. No more. Do it for two weeks. It will make you feel better, stronger, and more able to enjoy yourself. If it doesn’t, then move on to something else…it may not be working for you.
